The Armour of Antilochus is an ancient, masterwork suit of ornate Indomitus pattern Terminator Armour. It is highly detailed and heavily embellished with numerous honor markings, purity seals, and golden trim, befitting the Chapter Master of the Ultramarines and Lord Defender of Greater Ultramar.
Key descriptive features include:
Indomitus Pattern: It shares the general shape of standard Indomitus Terminator armour, which is noted for its large, rounded pauldrons and an iconic helmet design.
Ornate Detail: The armor is extensively decorated with ornate detailing and hard-won honor markings.
Color Scheme: In the traditional Ultramarines scheme, the armor is primarily blue with extensive gold trim and white or bone-colored details and iconography.
Gauntlets of Ultramar: The suit is always paired with the legendary twin power fists known as the Gauntlets of Ultramar. These relic weapons also have built-in bolters, and feature distinct, ornate shoulder plates.
Teleport Homer: The suit incorporates a compact teleport homer, a functional piece of wargear that allows the rapid deployment of veteran Terminator squads nearby.
A majestic pose: The current model for the armor depicts Calgar in a wide stance, often posed on a scenic base of broken masonry, with a long, flowing cloak attached to his back. The large cloak, often featuring the Ultramarines Chapter logo, is a prominent visual element.
Head options: The miniature typically comes with two head options: one helmeted and another bare, surveying the battlefield with a stoic or battle-worn expression.
After Calgar crossed the Rubicon Primaris, the original Armour of Antilochus was modified into a Gravis pattern suit called the Armour of Heraclus. However, the Chapter's artificers later worked to restore and modify the original Terminator Armour of Antilochus, which he now wears into battle again.
