Pandemic Legacy: Season 0 is a Cold War spy-themed prequel to the Pandemic Legacy series, where 2-4 players are CIA agents in 1962 trying to stop a Soviet bioweapon called Project MEDUSA, using aliases and forming teams to complete missions over a year, with permanent changes to the board and story unfolding with each game, unlike standard Pandemic where you cure diseases by card sets, here you use agents and vans. It offers a cooperative narrative experience with evolving rules, new content, and permanent consequences from player choices, focusing on espionage, uncovering secrets, and preventing global catastrophe through a year-long campaign, all within the classic Pandemic framework of player actions and threat management, but with unique spy mechanics.
