Board Game: Smash Up

Smash Up is a fast-paced, humorous card game for 2-4 players, recommended for ages ~12 and up. The game is described as a “shuffle-building” game (similar in feel to deck building, but quicker to set up), where each player picks two factions, mixes their decks, then competes to “smash” bases to score victory points.

Contents:

• 8 faction decks — there are 8 different factions in the base set.

• 16 base cards (these are the locations players compete to “crush” / score) 

• Victory point (VP) tokens 

• A rulebook 

• A storage tray / box designed to hold components neatly. 

Gameplay / Key Features:

• On your turn, you typically play one minion and one action card. Then check whether any bases score, draw cards, etc. 

• Every faction has unique mechanics (e.g. Zombies bring back cards from the discard pile; Pirates may move minions among bases; Dinosaurs tend to have high raw power). 

• First player to reach 15 victory points wins.

• Play time is around 45 minutes
