Aeldari: Dire Avengers

The Dire Avengers are the most numerous and tactically flexible of the Aeldari Aspect Warriors, representing the noble and merciless warrior aspect of the war god Khaine. They are elite ranged infantry capable of shifting between rapid-fire assaults and steadfast defense. 
Core Identity and Lore
The First Aspect: They were the first Aspect Shrines founded by the Phoenix Lord Asurmen.
Tactical Versatility: Unlike highly specialized Aspects (like the melee-only Howling Banshees), Dire Avengers are generalists who excel at reading the "ebb and flow" of battle to react to changing threats.
Appearance: They are identified by their tall helmets with long crests and traditional blue and white armor. 

Tabletop Role & Abilities
Weaponry: Their signature weapon is the Avenger Shuriken Catapult, which has superior range and targeting compared to standard Guardian versions.
Infantry Shredders: They specialize in high-volume fire to eliminate enemy infantry at mid-range.
Overwatch Specialists: Historically known for their ability to fire Overwatch more effectively than most other units (hitting on 5+ in earlier 10th edition rules). 

Unit Composition & Options
The squad consists of 5 to 10 models, one of which can be a Dire Avenger Exarch, a master warrior with diverse wargear options: 
Dual Avenger Shuriken Catapults: Maximizes fire output.
Diresword & Shuriken Pistol: Adds a lethal melee threat that can sear an opponent's mind.
Power Weapon & Shimmershield: Provides a protective force field to the entire squad. 
Miniature Kit Details
The Aeldari: Dire Avengers kit includes 42 plastic components to build five warriors. 

Customization: Includes various heads (helmeted and bare), ammunition pouches, and a small shrine statue of Asurmen.
